Hmm, if he wasn't so attached to Obama, he'd kind of have a point. I signed the letter,granted, but there is a bit of an arrogant "Join me or die! Can you do any less?" vibe from the letter too*, but that's just my opinion. I agree with you about offering arguments. But Tom Hayden doesn't appear to be open to them- he just stomps his foot and pounds his fists "I'm SO glad I voted for Obama!!!!!" no matter what happens in the real world. Making an example of his dogmatism could very well be an effective argument for winning progressives on the fence to the idea that we need an alternative to the Democrats.
